This species is regarded as critically rare. Photographed south of Oudtshoorn.	Plants from south of Oudtshoorn. Photograph: Gerhard Marx.	Plants from different localities differ somewhat. These plants from south of Oudtshoorn are apparently different to those of the type locality further west.
