Brunsvigia

This very attractive and rather common Brunsvigia occurs from the Bokkeveld Mountains to Oudtshoorn. The umbel of flowers appears in different shades of pink. The very similar looking but smaller Brunsvigia minor is also generally included under striata. I am keeping them seperate in this website. They have distinct habitats at least in the Oudtshoorn district with no known linking in-between forms.
