What is a Phytosanitary Certificate ?..
A phytosanitary certificate is a certificate issued by our local department of agriculture (APHIS) to verify that the plants are free of pests and free of soil. Most countries demand such a document before they will allow imported plant material into the country. The cost thereof is $ 57. We put the certificate then into the box with the shipment. The choice is yours. Many clients prefer not to have this document included and save the cost thereof. This is at the client's risk. If customs do not open the parcel than it goes through. If they do open it they may demand the certificate from the client before releasing the plants.- Return to Bulbs List..
