| Cacti are plants native to the Americas, except for Rhipsalis baccifera which is also found in Africa and Sri Lanka. Most have fleshy stems and are especially designed to withstand a certain amount of drought. Many have very showy flowers that mostly appear during the warmer months. The flowers of many species do not last very long. |
