Gladiolus leptosiphon is a rare bulb occuring from Ladismith in the Little Karoo to Uitenhage in the Eastern Cape. These slender plants with thin leaves can grow to a height of some 60 cm when in flower.The creamy white/ yellowish flowers with reddish-brown markings occur in spring. This attractive bulb is regarded as a choice specimen in collections. |
